The 2004 49er World Championship will be held at Vouliagmeni Bay, Athens.
The Organising Authority is the Nautical Club Katikon Vouliagmenis in conjunction with Hellenic Yachting Federation and the International 49er Class Association.
The regatta will be governed by rules as defined in the 2001-2004 ISAF Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS), the Class and Championship Rules of the International 49er Class Association, except as any of these are altered by the Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions.
RRS 44.2 is amended so that the 720? turn is replaced by 360? turn, including one tack and one gybe.
All entries to the 2004 49er World Championship should be received by the Organising Authority no later than March 10th 2004. The details of entries will be posted on the event web site www.eio.gr/2004_49er. Competitors may enter either by visiting events site or by completing the attached entry form and sending them with the appropriate entry fees to:
